On Saturday, August 23, 2025, We at LCTaylor Licensed Insolvency Trustees were proud to once again serve as the presenting sponsor for the Winnipeg Goldeyes’ 9th annual “Bark in the Park” at Blue Cross Park.
The evening was filled with community spirit, wagging tails, and plenty of baseball fun — and for us, it was an especially meaningful celebration.
A Special First Pitch
The night began with a very special moment as our founder, Leigh Taylor, took to the mound to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
It was a fitting tribute to LCTaylor’s long-standing roots in Winnipeg and our ongoing dedication to being more than just financial professionals — but true partners in the well-being of our community.
Teddy Takes the Spotlight
Of course, no Bark in the Park would be complete without our beloved office emotional support dog, Teddy. This year, Teddy proudly served as Marshall of the Pooch Parade, leading the way alongside our CEO, Jillian Taylor-Mancusi.
Before the game, fans also had the chance to visit the famous “Teddy bus” — the Winnipeg city bus wrapped with Teddy’s smiling face that circulates year-round. Parked in the Courtyard, it became a popular photo spot before the rain set in. When the weather turned, Teddy charmed everyone from inside the bus, happily waiting for the game to begin. Later, he greeted fans at the concourse table, giving plenty of opportunities for a wag and a smile.
Supporting Families and Pets Alike
As a local Licensed Insolvency Trustee, we see first-hand the challenges families face when dealing with financial stress. That’s why we are passionate about supporting events like Bark in the Park, which provide affordable, family-friendly entertainment that helps bring our community together.

The evening included everything fans love about Bark in the Park:
A pre-game “Pooch Parade” featuring proud pups and their humans, led by Teddy and Jillian.
Interactive features like the “Paw-Paw-Razzi Photo Wall,” “Pooch Smooch Cam,” and “5th Inning Fetch.”
Special “Pet Pic” jerseys worn by the players, later auctioned to support the Goldeyes Field of Dreams Foundation.
Generous fans supporting the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter by purchasing 50/50 tickets in the stadium and online.
We also want to thank the Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association, who were on-site to ensure the comfort and safety of every furry guest.
